Djembe, "The Storyteller"

Originating from the Mandingue Empire of West Africa, the Djembe has been used in ceremonial dances, communication and healing practices as far back as 800 years. Due to its unique shape, the Djembe is able to produce distinctive low and high tones creating sounds that are unmatched by any other drum.
