All of the products are handmade by skilled craftsmen in Africa from countries such as Mali, Guinea, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Tanzania, and Kenya. They are musicians and artists and only offer products that meet our high standard of quality and performance.

The shells are professional quality and have been carefully selected and assembled using only the finest of materials. Only the strongest and thickest of Guinea goat skins are used. The steel rings are custom bent and welded to assure a perfect fit. The top edge is sanded to create a perfectly rounded and true bearing edge.

No expense is spared on the roping, using up to 33 pairs of verticals with 5.5mm custom made rope. Each drum is carefully assembled with attention to finest detail.
